This position is part of the Enterprise Services team, which delivers a full suite of services to state agencies, boards, councils, and commissions, as well as central services to local government partners.
As a Billing & Financial Customer Service Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, transparent, and efficient enterprise billing operations. You will analyze complex financial data, lead reconciliations, and resolve billing issues that directly impact statewide services. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence enterprise financial operations and drive meaningful improvements by working independently to enhance processes, develop audit and quality controls, and elevate the customer experience through clear communication and problem-solving.
You will partner closely with finance leaders, service teams, and agency stakeholders to ensure financial integrity across the state's operations.
This position requires an employee to be onsite at 600 North Robert Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location. Telework for Minnesota IT Services is available on a limited basis, and employees must meet current telework eligibility requirements.

Experience supporting enterprise-level billing operations, invoicing, or accounts receivables in a large complex organization. Experience using enterprise financial systems such as SWIFT, COSWeb, OBIEE, data warehouse, or similar platforms to extract, reconcile, or validate financial data. Experience developing or supporting audit processes, internal controls, or quality assurance efforts related to billing or financial operations. Knowledge of governmental accounting, budgeting practices, or public sector financial processes. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently, meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and communicate progress clearly to others. Ability to translate business needs into reporting or system requirements and collaborate with IT partners to resolve system issues or improve financial workflows.
