About the Role
The Valley View Public School District is seeking a dedicated Bilingual (English/Spanish) Instructional Aide to join our team at Irene H. King Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position is designed to support the educational, functional, and social development of students under the direct supervision of licensed staff.
As a vital member of the instructional team, you will serve as a bridge between teachers and students, ensuring equitable access to learning activities. Your day will involve guiding students through academic tasks, reinforcing learning concepts in small groups, and facilitating smooth transitions between structured and unstructured activities both inside and outside the classroom. You will play a key role in maintaining a supportive, responsive, and safe learning environment while utilizing technology and instructional materials to engage learners.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role, allowing you to translate materials and interpret as needed to support bilingual students effectively. You will collaborate closely with classroom teachers to coordinate instructional plans and act as a positive role model for student professionalism and behavior.

Requirements
