At Children's Services of Roxbury (CSR), we are not just offering an internship; we are offering a chance to be part of something bigger. As one of Massachusetts' largest Black-led nonprofits, we provide holistic services to more than 6,000 children and families annually. Our mission is to bring peace of mind to children and families across the state by advancing effective, equitable mental health care.
We foster a culture of trust, humility, and respect, where every team member is valued and supported. CSR is an equal opportunity employer committed to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive care. If you are looking to make a real impact and gain hands-on experience while growing with a mission-driven team, this internship is for you.
This unpaid, part-time second-year internship is designed specifically for graduate students enrolled in MSW, LMHC, or LMFT programs who are completing their advanced clinical practicum. The role provides supervised, hands-on experience delivering culturally responsive, trauma-informed outpatient mental health services to individuals and families.
Under the guidance of licensed clinical supervisors, the Outpatient Clinical Intern will build advanced clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic intervention, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
