Columbia Community Mental Health (CCMH) is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) dedicated to serving individuals with mental health, addiction, and developmental disabilities. We uphold our core values of authenticity and an unwavering commitment to quality care. Our team members have a daily opportunity to make a tangible, positive impact on the lives of our clients.
We strive to create an inclusive, equitable, and culturally competent environment where employees model behavior that enriches our community. CCMH calls on colleagues to take conscious and deliberate action to dismantle systems of oppression, fostering an anti-racist, gender-affirming, class-conscious, and disability-aware space where the innate humanity of others is recognized and celebrated.
We are hiring a Behavioral Health Nurse Supervisor who wants more than just keeping the wheels on. This is a true RN supervisory role where your leadership directly shapes the quality of care, the reliability of operations, and the culture people experience every day. In a CCBHC environment, the work is complex; clients often present with psychiatric conditions, substance use disorders, and co-occurring needs alongside significant system barriers. We are looking for a nurse leader who can hold steady in complexity, lead with clarity, and build a team that can do the same.
This role requires courage, accountability, and a willingness to engage in real conversations rather than seeking perfection. You will provide formal supervision of medical assistants and oversee the medication room, taking responsibility for team performance and workflow reliability. You will partner closely with the Medical Director, serve as a key liaison across programs and community partners, and play a central role in improving systems and processes, including serving as the medical department's EHR superuser. You will be trusted to make decisions, name problems early, and follow through.
This position is based in an outpatient behavioral health clinic. The role involves regular use of computers, phones, EHR systems, and standard medical equipment. While individual schedules are determined in collaboration with the supervisor to meet business needs, services are generally provided Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Columbia Community Mental Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to building a culturally diverse workplace. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply and will receive equal consideration without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, or any other similarly protected status. We are a drug-free workplace.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
