The Behavioral Health Counselor serves as a vital link within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing comprehensive, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care to patients. Under the direct supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor (LPC-S) and the Behavioral Health Manager, this role is designed for a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) working toward full licensure.
The position focuses on reducing the psychological burdens influenced by patient disorders through integrated care coordination, psychosocial assessment, and service planning. You will work within a community-focused environment to support whole-person care, ensuring that patients receive seamless support across behavioral health, medical, housing, and social service domains.
