About the Role
As a Behavior Technician, you will join a team dedicated to making a difference in the life of a child. You will teach kids while playing, following a treatment plan specific to each child. Your day will involve observing, playing, and collecting data to write progress notes, helping children learn essential life skills such as motor, social, and emotional skills. You will work on goals that help shape challenging behaviors into communication skills.
This role is ideal for someone with lots of energy who is playful, creative, and able to think on their feet. You must be dependable, someone your client and their family can count on, and comfortable with the physical demands of constantly getting up and down off the floor and moving quickly. You will work independently using evidence-based methods based in science, utilizing data collection software and Microsoft Office 365.
