About the Role
As a Behavior Technician, you will join a team dedicated to making a difference in the life of a child. You will teach kids while playing, following a treatment plan specific to each child. Your day will involve observing, playing, and collecting data to write progress notes, helping children learn essential life skills such as motor, social, and emotional skills. You will work on goals that help shape challenging behaviors into communication skills, utilizing evidence-based methods that are based in science and proven effective.
This role is ideal for someone with lots of energy who is playful, creative, and able to think on their feet. You must be dependable, someone your client and their family can count on, and comfortable with the physical demands of constantly getting up and down off the floor and moving quickly. You will also need to be tech-savvy, comfortable learning our data collection software and using Microsoft Office 365.
