Pioneer Resources is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities and seniors obtain independence and dignity. Our mission is realized through four pillars of service: creating affordable housing and specialized homes, providing vocational training and ABA therapy, offering recreational programs like Pioneer Trails, and operating one of the largest transportation fleets on the lakeshore.
We are a great place to work, fostering a workforce that respects the diversity of the people we serve. Our team is an energizing mix of veteran staff with over 40 years of experience and new members discovering their passion for helping others. As an employee, you will have the unique opportunity to touch the lives of those in your community every day while enjoying a rewarding experience that balances personal fulfillment with work-life success.
All positions at Pioneer Resources are expected to abide by our agency values of LEAD: Listen, Empathy, Acknowledge, and Dignity. We engage with participants, residents, and co-workers daily by listening to their needs with understanding, acknowledging everyone as an individual, and treating all with the utmost respect.
The BCBA Associate Director serves as a strategic leader responsible for the overall direction and development of our behavioral programs. In this role, you will devise behavioral-based treatment plans for children and young adults with developmental disabilities, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols in accordance with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) guidelines.
You will work in tandem with the ABA Program Manager to provide administrative oversight while reporting directly to the Chief Clinical Officer. This position is a hybrid of clinical expertise and leadership, requiring you to supervise therapy and provide clinical guidance to Qualified Behavior Health Professionals (QBHPs), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), and Behavior Analysis Technicians (BATs). You will also represent the ABA Center in public outreach and advocacy opportunities, ensuring best practices are maintained across the program.
Your work will take you across various settings, including our center, participant homes, and the community. While the majority of your time is spent indoors, you may also work outdoors in all seasons to assist participants with outings or vehicle transport. The role involves conducting initial and updated assessments, writing behavior intervention plans, and collaborating with families and staff to ensure the success of treatment plans. You will also play a key role in staff development, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
To apply, please submit your application online. If you have a disability and require reasonable accommodations during the application process, please contact Human Resources at (231) 773-5355. We will share your request only with those who have a specific need to know, and it will not affect our hiring decisions.
