About the Role

The North Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center (NFETC) is a 216-bed, all-male forensic mental health rehabilitation facility located on 639 acres in northeast Gainesville. This position serves as a Barber/Beautician II within the facility's operations team. The ideal candidate is a collaborative professional who works seamlessly across all sections, utilizing independent judgment and a proactive approach to ensure a safe, secure, and sanitary environment for residents.

This role involves providing skilled barbering and beautician services to individuals in a psychiatric treatment setting. The position requires maintaining a clean and orderly salon, managing inventory, and ensuring all tools are properly sterilized. It is a highly responsible role that demands exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
