This highly visible position is responsible for the successful set-up, service, and tear-down of all Banquet events at the Sheraton Erie, including coffee breaks, three-meal dining, and bar operations. You will partner with Event Managers to ensure the operational execution of banquet functions runs smoothly.
As a key member of the team, you will serve as an ambassador of the hotel, maintaining a neat and professional appearance while anticipating guest needs. Your day will involve setting tables, buffets, and bars accurately, and professionally serving food and beverages in various styles. You will monitor service areas to keep them clean, stocked, and visually appealing, ensuring every event exceeds guest expectations.
Candidates must be available to work weekends. Please note that previous banquet or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
