About the Role
This position is dedicated to creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. You will establish and maintain a safe, clean environment that encourages customers to return, while assisting the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals. Embracing the "Customer 1st" strategy, you will encourage associates to deliver excellent service and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
In this role, you will be the face of our bakery and deli departments, preparing items per customer requests, offering product samples, and sharing knowledge about specials. Your day will involve ensuring customers receive fresh products in the correct portion sizes, maintaining proper temperatures and food safety logs, and managing inventory with precision. You will foster an environment where customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated, while working cooperatively in a high-paced environment to resolve issues with honesty and integrity.
