About the Role
As a Baggage Acceptance Handler, you will be the first point of contact for checked luggage, responsible for receiving, loading, unloading, and distributing bags while maintaining accurate records. Your day will involve setting up conveyances to sort incoming bags, scanning items to ensure correct loading, and managing the flow of luggage to and from the TSA. You will operate safety scanners and other equipment, ensuring all operations adhere to strict TSA, DOT, FAA, and OSHA regulations. This role requires you to work in a fast-paced environment, often outdoors in varying weather conditions, and to be flexible with rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
