This internship offers a unique opportunity to step into the heart of our kitchen operations, bridging the gap between culinary excellence and guest satisfaction. You will serve as a vital support to management, ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen meets our rigorous quality standards while fostering a positive environment for both staff and guests.
Your journey will be dynamic and fast-paced, requiring you to move seamlessly between the back-of-house kitchen and the dining area. You will assist in training new team members, helping to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. From managing expo efficiency to coordinating catering functions, you will gain hands-on experience in labor controls, inventory management, and waste prevention.
Beyond the operational duties, this role is designed for growth. You will participate in weekly classroom sessions with leadership, collaborating with fellow interns on assignments that challenge your critical thinking and decision-making skills. You will also establish rapport with guests through name recognition and clear communication, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university, college, or culinary school for the duration of the internship. Successful applicants will be required to obtain necessary health permits, food safety certifications, and alcohol awareness cards prior to their first day of employment, subject to local laws.
