About the Role

This is a high-velocity sales position designed for a hunter who thrives on prospecting and winning net new customers. You will operate within a defined territory, leveraging a prioritized call list to engage prospects through a hybrid of phone, video, face-to-face, and digital tools. The role is not just about closing deals; it is about building "sticky" accounts that continue to purchase from Staples by understanding incremental and programmatic needs.

In this position, you will act as a consultant, utilizing professional selling skills to communicate our value propositions, capabilities, and product assortments across all categories. You will work closely with internal partners, including customer support, setup teams, and category specialists, to progress deals from initial contact to "closed won." Your day will involve analyzing business trends to create tailored solutions, overcoming objections, and integrating prospect feedback to refine your approach. Success in this role requires a strong drive to win, the ability to view rejection as a learning opportunity, and the discipline to function independently while maintaining professional communication with prospects daily.
