About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to provide technical leadership for building and enhancing on‑premises data warehouse solutions while accelerating our migration to AWS, including Amazon Redshift. You will be an integral part of an exciting, fast-paced, and constantly changing work environment, playing a pivotal role in shaping technology solutions at Synchrony.
In this position, you will partner with information architects, platform architects, data scientists, and product management to design robust solutions. Your day-to-day will involve resolving complex problems through the evaluation of business and system processes, ensuring compliance with data management policies, and leading technical teams to meet business goals. You will work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and global Agile teams to drive innovation and automation, promoting Synchrony's values and culture throughout the engineering organization.
