This position supports the credit risk management of Travel Cobrand portfolios at Synchrony. You will serve as a key partner to retail clients and internal teams, driving smart growth while ensuring safety and soundness across the cardholder life-cycle. The role focuses on identifying and managing consumer credit risk through rigorous data gathering, analytics, and strategic reporting.
You will act as a leader in developing enhanced strategies, utilizing champion/challenger methodologies to balance credit and fraud risk. Your work will directly influence informed decision-making through client-facing presentations and by providing clear guidance on risk appetite and prudent growth. This role requires a collaborative approach to coordinate multisite resources and ensure the accuracy of monthly management information systems (MIS) and reporting.
At Synchrony, we offer flexibility in how you work. You have the option to work from home near one of our Hubs or come into one of our offices. You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (either virtual or physical) for in-person engagement activities, such as regular business or team meetings, training, and culture events. Please note that Field Sales and some Commercial team roles may have varied location requirements based upon partner obligations or preferences.
