From workforce development and meaningful connections to a culture of trust, respect, and integrity, we invest in our employees so they can do their best work and achieve success together. Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, designs, develops, manufactures, markets, services, and supports the world's most technologically-advanced business jet aircraft.
As an Avionics/Electrical Tech III in GAC Savannah, you will provide the technical expertise necessary to perform operational, functional tests, and repairs on avionics, electronic, and aircraft equipment. Your work ensures the delivery of defect-free aircraft while minimizing schedule impact through superior troubleshooting and repair of system discrepancies.
In this role, you will not only demonstrate technical mastery in testing and repairing avionics systems but also define and implement process changes to reduce costs and meet schedules without compromising safety or quality. You will teach installation and functional testing procedures to others, oversee engineering changes, and ensure all work is properly documented in daily logs. The position requires adapting to sudden schedule changes and coordinating with other disciplines to support aircraft certification and final phase testing, which may include flight tests.
This position is open for 1st and 2nd shifts. Strong avionics installation experience is preferred, and proficiency in other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, or flight controls is a plus.
To apply, please submit your application through the Gulfstream careers portal. Please note that Gulfstream does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position, unless the applicant is a currently sponsored Gulfstream employee.
Gulfstream is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or protected veteran status.
