An A&P Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic at Pentastar Aviation is dedicated to supporting the daily needs of maintenance operations while ensuring an outstanding experience for our customers. In this role, you will provide top-level service, working directly with the Maintenance Supervisor and in close partnership with the FAA, manufacturers, pilots, and fellow mechanics and avionics technicians.
Your work ensures that aircraft are maintained to the highest airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies, and industry best practices. You will be responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing business transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and specialized test equipment. By analyzing test results and following blueprints, schematics, and technical handbooks, you will adjust, repair, or replace defective components with precision and integrity.
Success in this position requires the ability to work with minimal supervision to troubleshoot and repair complex systems on aircraft airframes and engines, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components. Versatility and flexibility are essential, as the schedule may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands.
