About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Aircraft Maintenance A & P Technician to join our team in Traverse City (TVC). In this part-time capacity, you will ensure our business transport category aircraft are maintained to the highest airworthiness standards, adhering to applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, and company policies.
You will work in close partnership with the West Michigan Maintenance Manager, the FAA, manufacturers, pilots, and fellow mechanics and avionics technicians. Your day-to-day involves inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and specialized test equipment. From analyzing test results to repair defective components based on blueprints and schematics, to conducting functional checks of flight controls, your work is critical to maintaining the safety and optimal performance of our fleet.
This role requires a high level of integrity and the ability to perform AOG (Aircraft on Ground) troubleshooting and problem-solving with minimal supervision. You will be expected to demonstrate versatility and flexibility, working days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed to meet operational demands.

Requirements
- verifiedCurrent valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P)
- verifiedMinimum 5 years recent A&P experience on turbine powered aircraft
- verifiedExperience working under FAA approved Part 145 repair station
- verifiedAbility to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications
Nice to Have
Factory or equivalent training on Bombardier aircraft. Experience working under a FAA approved Part 135 repair station. Inspection Authorization.
