Shermco Industries is seeking transitioning service members to join our SkillBridge Protection & Controls (P&C) Technician program. This hands-on training initiative is designed to bridge your military experience into a high-demand civilian career within the electrical power industry.
The program serves as a direct pathway from active duty service to full-time employment. Upon successful completion of the training and transition to a full-time role, you will join a team dedicated to maintaining critical power infrastructure. The environment offers a clear trajectory for growth, with defined career paths in Protection & Controls and power systems, alongside ongoing technical training through our internal workforce development programs.
We welcome candidates from all branches of service. We place a strong preference on those whose military background translates effectively to electrical systems, controls, or power distribution environments similar to civilian Protection & Controls work. Whether your experience lies in electrical generation, electronics, or mechanical roles with electrical exposure, we value the technical foundation you bring to the team.
To be eligible for this SkillBridge opportunity, you must be currently on active duty with 100-180 days remaining in your service when joining Shermco.
