Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign and integrate aircraft level electrical and avionics systems
- check_circleAnalyze and manage total aircraft electrical loads and distribution networks
- check_circleDesign robust and redundant power distribution systems
- check_circlePerform system level trade studies and interface with suppliers
- check_circleDesign and integrate aircraft level grounding systems for composite airframes
- check_circleManage the integration of electrical and avionics systems across teams
- check_circleEstablish requirements and develop schematic drawings for electrical power systems
- check_circleExecute and lead systems tests and checkouts for avionics and electrical systems
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 7 years directly related work experience
- verifiedBachelor of Science in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or equivalent
- verifiedFundamental knowledge of aircraft electrical subsystems
- verifiedExperience with electrical system architecture and analysis
- verifiedStrong understanding of aircraft grounding
- verifiedExperience with composite airframe electrical system development
- verifiedProficiency in NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks
- verifiedExperience planning and executing system tests
- verifiedElectrical harness design, build and installation
- verifiedExperience establishing requirements, developing schematic drawings, creating bill of materials
- verifiedUnderstanding of Part 23 requirements
