About the Role
The Automotive Valet position plays an extremely important role in customer satisfaction and the overall continued success of DARCARS of Rockville. In this role, you are responsible for lane management and will perform various tasks and errands to ensure a seamless experience for every visitor.
You will be the first point of contact for many customers, greeting every visitor with a smile and directing them to their desired destinations when parking or retrieving their vehicles. Your work ensures efficient vehicle flow within the dealership as service tickets are generated, assisting Advisors and Technicians by moving client vehicles to and from the shop. Additionally, you may provide shuttle service to customers upon request and assist with service write-ups and vehicle tagging.
Maintaining a safe and clean environment is a core part of the job. You will be responsible for keeping the service area, driveways, and walkways clean and dry, removing debris, ice, and snow as necessary. You must remain vigilant, reporting any situation that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees, or customers.
Hiring Process
Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a background screening, which includes a criminal background check, review of consumer and motor vehicle records, and verification of Social Security Number. Employment is on an at-will basis and subject to termination if dealership rules and regulations are violated.
