About the Role

As an Automotive Technician, you will be the backbone of our service department, responsible for diagnosing and completing routine repairs to keep customer vehicles running smoothly. This role involves performing general repairs and diagnostics across a wide range of systems, including light engine work, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, electrical systems, HVAC, and steering & suspension.

In this position, you will work closely with service advisors to communicate effectively about additional work needed or potential delays. You will document all work performed, conduct multi-point inspections, and ensure vehicles are returned to customers in the same condition they were received. The role requires a team player who can handle repetitive complex tasks while maintaining high production averages and adhering to DARCARS standards for customer satisfaction.

Hiring Process & Requirements

Candidates must have at least 3 years of previous automotive technician experience and possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Basic tools are required, and proficiency in all vehicle maintenance services is essential. While factory, ASE, and A/C certifications are a plus, a commitment to quality and a minimum age of 18 are mandatory.
