Big O Automotive Technicians are the backbone of our service centers, dedicated to diagnosing, recommending, and performing automotive repairs with accuracy and speed. We adhere strictly to company programs, policies, and procedures to ensure every vehicle receives the highest standard of care. Our technicians are recognized by their expertise, with titles ranging from Automotive Technician C to Automotive Technician A based on the number of ASE certifications held.
In this role, you will perform comprehensive brake, front-end, and alignment maintenance alongside general mechanical work. Your day involves not only repairing vehicles but also ensuring quality control across all shop functions. You will play a key part in extending Big O's Extra Care Services to every customer, managing the flow of service assignments to maintain productivity, and collaborating with store management to meet service and sales quotas. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting work details for invoicing, utilizing the outside purchase program for profitability, and staying current with safety issues and policy changes through weekly meetings.

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Two or more years of experience in an automotive shop environment. ASE certifications. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to work at a fast pace. Strong verbal communication skills. Sales abilities. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities using time efficiently. Management of multiple tasks and projects. Ability to perform detail work with accuracy.
