In Chicago, IL, our maintenance team ensures the safety, efficiency, and longevity of our vehicles and equipment. As a Maintenance Technician B (II), you will be a vital part of this operation, working directly on gasoline and diesel engines to keep our mobility solutions running smoothly.
This position is designed for an experienced technician who thrives in a dynamic, outdoor environment. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet, ensuring optimal functionality for our partners and passengers. The role demands expertise in troubleshooting complex engine issues and performing moderate to advanced repairs.
As a B-Level Technician, you will not only execute routine maintenance and advanced diagnostic tests but also serve as a mentor to junior technicians. You will assist A-Level Mechanics in complex tasks, contributing to an efficient workflow while developing your own skills in engine overhauling and rebuilding. Your work will be performed 100% outside, often in remote locations, requiring adaptability to varying weather conditions and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
