This role sits within the IAS/ATG/OPS/GVS group, where we provide essential operations and maintenance services for Department of Defense installations. We are dedicated to ensuring the reliability of fuel handling and safety systems, enabling our customers to focus on their core defense objectives.
As an Electronics Technician, you will serve as a critical link in maintaining the safety and efficiency of fuel accounting, alarm monitoring, and leak detection equipment at DoD installations across Colorado, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming. Working independently or within small teams, you will perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, and installation on Automatic Tank Gauging Systems, Independent Alarm Systems, Overfill Protection Systems, and Ground Verification Systems.
Your day-to-day involves traveling extensively to sites such as Buckley SFB, Malmstrom AFB, Hill AFB, and F.E. Warren AFB to conduct preventive and corrective maintenance. You will utilize hand tools and testing instruments to diagnose electronic components and electrical systems, while maintaining organized, detailed records of all work performed. Success in this role requires strong communication with dispatchers, managers, and installation teams to ensure schedules are met and delays are managed effectively. You will also be responsible for coordinating travel, managing on-hand components and safety equipment, and reconciling weekly travel charges.
This position will be posted for at least 5 calendar days and will remain active until filled or a qualified pool of candidates is identified. Candidates must be able to acquire and maintain a U.S. government security clearance and/or Common Access Card (CAC) within 30 days of hire. Additionally, required certifications and manufacturer proficiencies must be established within five months of employment.
