As an Electronics Technician within the IAS/ATG/OPS/GVS team, you will play a vital role in defending national security by ensuring the proper operation of fuel accounting, alarm monitoring, and leak detection equipment at Department of Defense installations. You will work alone or in small teams to perform testing, maintenance, and repair functions on Automatic Tank Gauging Systems, Independent Alarm Systems, Overfill Protection Systems, and Ground Verification Systems.
Your day-to-day involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electronic components and electrical systems using hand tools and testing instruments. You will also manage on-hand components, safety equipment, and compile weekly travel charging. While you may reside anywhere within the specified states, this position requires extensive travel throughout the region to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance.
