About the Role
This position serves as an ATG/IAS/OPS/GVS Automation Technician, Electronics, operating within the Department of Defense installations across the United States and the Pacific region. Working either independently or within small teams, you will be the guardian of critical fuel safety and accounting infrastructure.
Your primary focus is ensuring the proper operation of fuels accounting, alarm monitoring, controls, and leak detection equipment. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install electronic components and electrical systems using hand tools and testing instruments. Beyond technical execution, you will maintain organized, detailed records of all work performed and coordinate travel to customer sites. Success in this role requires thorough communication with dispatchers, managers, and installation teams to maintain schedules and ensure delays are properly conveyed to the customer. You will also be responsible for managing on-hand components, assigned safety equipment, and compiling weekly travel charging reconciliations.
Hiring Process
This position will be posted for at least 5 calendar days. The posting will remain active until the position is filled or a qualified pool of candidates is identified. Candidates must be able to acquire and maintain a U.S. government security clearance and/or Common Access Card (CAC) within 30 days of hire. Additionally, required certifications and UST licenses must be established within five months of employment.
