About the Role
This opportunity offers a unique chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams within the Technology, Commercial & Industrial Market Sector. You will support Distributed Network projects, such as Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), while helping to build critical civil infrastructure for today's and tomorrow's challenges.
As a Virtual Design & Data Solutions (VDDS) Assistant Civil Engineering Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the development of high-quality engineering deliverables for these complex infrastructure projects. Under close supervision, you will perform technical tasks requiring advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles, focusing on creating and modifying site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts using industry-standard tools like Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation.
Location & Work Model
This is a 6+ month temporary-to-permanent role based onsite in Jacksonville, FL. Candidates must be local to the area and available to work 5 days per week on-site.
Hiring Process
Candidates with a Diploma or Certificate are required to apply. An Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology is preferred, along with a minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
