This position serves as a pivotal leader within Property Operations, bridging the gap between technical engineering maintenance and team management. The role exists to ensure the physical plant operates seamlessly while fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and exceptional guest service. You will supervise the day-to-day operations of the Engineering department, managing everything from preventative maintenance programs to emergency response services available 24/7.
In this capacity, you will act as the primary point of contact for the physical condition of the facilities, inspecting and evaluating equipment such as HVAC-R, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems. Beyond technical oversight, the role is deeply rooted in human resources and team development. You will be responsible for interviewing and hiring skilled team members, conducting orientation programs, and ensuring cross-training to support daily operations. By maintaining an open-door policy and actively soliciting feedback, you will cultivate a collaborative environment where associates feel empowered to deliver high-quality service.
