BlackRock SMA Solutions helps clients customize portfolios for unique tax, values-alignment, or investment exposures across direct indexing, fixed income, active equity, and multi-asset. We deliver world-class service to a diverse range of clients, from wealth advisors and family offices to endowments and foundations.
We are seeking a personable Portfolio Manager to join our Portfolio Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for portfolio construction and rebalancing, as well as investment strategy analysis. You will work with leading-edge portfolio risk and optimization technologies to manage direct indexing equity portfolios.
The position requires you to collaborate directly with clients on complicated tax- and risk-modeling problems, ensuring their specific mandates and preferences are met. You will partner with internal Operations teams to facilitate account management and work alongside other portfolio managers to analyze and implement strategies. Success in this role demands excellent problem-solving capabilities, a high degree of attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
Candidates will be evaluated on their analytical competencies, quantitative intuition, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who demonstrate initiative, creativity, and strong communication skills.
