About the Role
The Associate Manager position is a developmental role designed for aspiring leaders eager to grow within our organization. This position serves as a critical stepping stone for individuals committed to personal development and the success of both the individual store and the company as a whole. Candidates will undergo a comprehensive training program to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of store operations, with the goal of managing a store within 6 to 12 months.
As an Associate Manager, you will support the Store Manager in daily operations while learning all management responsibilities. You will act as an ambassador of our "Living Brand," building strong relationships with customers to ensure total satisfaction. Your role involves serving the community through volunteerism and producing a return on assets that assures the future prosperity of our employees and the company.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSupport the Store Manager in daily store operations and role model customer service excellence
- check_circleComplete daily, weekly, and monthly accounting, banking, and auditing functions
- check_circleMaximize sales and gross profit through effective product marketing and display management
- check_circleOperate and maintain all approved store equipment and report incidents promptly
- check_circleExecute management duties in the absence of the Store Manager including banking and safe procedures
- check_circleEnsure store security, safety, and compliance with image and merchandising standards
- check_circleAssist with recruiting, interviewing, training, and coaching store employees
Requirements
- verifiedMust be at least 21 years of age
- verifiedMust have at least a High School diploma or equivalent
- verifiedMust have reliable transportation
- verifiedMust be able to travel daily between all Family Express locations
- verifiedServSafe Certification
- verifiedAbility to read, write and understand English
Nice to Have
2-4 year college degree. Previous retail experience.
