Join Amazon's Transportation Operations Management (TOM) team as an Associate Learning & Development Trainer to play a crucial role in shaping our transportation network's future. In this DOT-regulated position, you will combine your transportation expertise with hands-on training delivery to develop Transportation Associates' critical skills. You will lead classroom, virtual, and yard training sessions, focusing on safety, operational excellence, and compliance.
This role offers a unique opportunity to impact one of the world's largest transportation networks while developing your own skills in training delivery and operational support. You will partner with site leadership to maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with Amazon policies and DOT regulations.
Your day might begin with a virtual training session on compliance updates or safety protocols. You could then transition to hands-on yard training, demonstrating proper equipment operation and safety practices. In the afternoon, you might conduct over-the-road training, working one-on-one with associates to develop their driving skills. During peak periods, you'll flex between training delivery and supporting critical yard operations. Throughout the day, you'll document training completion, provide coaching, and ensure all activities comply with DOT regulations.
