About the Role
The Associate Director, HRConnect People Support serves as the strategic leader for AbbVie's global HR operations shared service center. This role is dedicated to delivering an excellent and efficient employee experience, acting as the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters across the organization.
Operating within a globally diverse environment, this position manages multiple geographies and requires deep collaboration with cross-functional partners, including Business HR, Total Rewards, Payroll, Finance, Digital and Data Strategy, Business Technology Solutions, and vendor partners. The core mission is to translate business requirements into system and HR service solutions that support AbbVie's HR Strategic Choices and Operational Priorities.
Day in the Life
In this role, you will champion the services and content available to employees, ensuring HR Operations consistently delivers a superior experience. You will build and sustain a high-performing, highly engaged team of HR Operations Consultants while driving process optimization efforts. This includes sponsoring technology enhancements designed to reduce resolution times and manual effort.
You will serve as a key liaison to HR business partners globally, aligning People Experience support with broader business HR strategies. A significant focus will be placed on increasing employee and manager self-service capabilities to reduce administrative effort for affiliate HR teams and COE partners, while effectively managing stakeholder relationships to meet or exceed key service level agreements and quality targets.
