This position is designed for those ready to perform a variety of accounting assignments, recording and reporting financial transactions while executing Sarbanes-Oxley control requirements. You will produce accurate and timely financial statements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial records are precise.
In this role, you will assist with forecasting and planning functions, supporting the business in meeting customer needs. You will continually assess processes to recommend improvements in efficiency and effectiveness. The work is varied and difficult, requiring the exercise of judgment, initiative, and ingenuity to select the most appropriate course of action. You will work under minimal supervision, often demonstrating situational leadership by coaching and mentoring less experienced team members. The role also involves engaging with internal and external auditors to support required audits and regulatory processes.

MBA with a concentration in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification, public accounting experience, regulatory/utility/FERC/SEC reporting or energy industry experience, understanding of the use and implementation of analytical tools and artificial intelligence to improve processes and analysis, demonstrated successful use of technology to improve process efficiency.
Skills: Accounting Theory, Gaap, Sox, Ferc, Sec, Cpa, Mba, Artificial Intelligence.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent; MBA with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
