About the Role

This position serves as a vital support function within the Virtua Health financial team, focusing on the accurate preparation and review of monthly financial and statistical data. The role is dedicated to ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) while maintaining the integrity of financial statements for the Hospital and related entities.

The incumbent acts as a key partner in the audit process, coordinating closely with both internal and external auditors to ensure work papers and analyses meet all compliance standards. Beyond routine monthly closings, the role involves managing critical tax-related schedules, including IRS Form 990 filings and New Jersey Sales tax quarterly submissions. The position also requires collaboration with staff to establish and maintain best practice standards for financial analysis and documentation, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
