The Assistant Living Coordinator serves as a vital link between residents, their families, and the facility's leadership. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this role is dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition for new residents and maintaining a safe, supportive environment for all. The position requires a genuine passion for the well-being of older adults, combining operational oversight with compassionate care.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for residents and families, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed promptly. Your day involves coordinating with various departments to meet resident needs, from medication administration to daily living activities. You will work closely with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure high standards of care are met, while also managing critical administrative tasks such as reviewing schedules, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local guidelines.
A key aspect of this position is the Medication Technician (Med Tec) responsibility. You will be tasked with checking Medication Administration Records (MAR), identifying medication needs, and reporting any concerns to management immediately. This role demands a high level of alertness to recognize changes in resident conditions and the ability to intervene effectively in crisis situations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Candidates must possess a valid Medication Technician (Med Tec) certification, as this is a strict requirement for the position. The role involves a comprehensive orientation session with management and pharmacy staff to ensure full knowledge of medication policies and procedures. Additionally, all in-services are mandatory to maintain compliance and stay updated on facility protocols.

We seek individuals who possess excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work congenially with others. We value diversity and encourage applicants who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of seniors.
