The Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc. (CIFC) is dedicated to strengthening communities through comprehensive early learning programs. CIFC's Danbury Early Learning Programs provides essential Head Start and preschool services to young children and their families, fostering a supportive environment for early development and school readiness.
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our Danbury team. In this role, you will serve as a vital partner to the lead teacher in a classroom of 14 to 20 Head Start and preschool children (ages 3-5). Your primary mission is to assist in the planning and implementation of engaging classroom activities that support the holistic growth of each child.
Your day will be centered on program implementation, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment. You will also play a key role in building strong partnerships with families, facilitating communication, and maintaining accurate records. This position is integral to the core functions of our Head Start program, requiring a balance of active classroom engagement and collaborative service coordination.
