Assistant Store Manager

About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager at Hot Spot Stores, you will partner closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming environment for our customers. This role is designed to support the leadership team by stepping in to guide staff, manage store procedures, and uphold the high ethical standards that define our brand. You will serve as a key resource for the team, helping to recruit, train, and motivate employees while enforcing accountability to achieve profitable results.

Day in the Life

Your day will be dynamic, requiring you to perform all duties of a Sales Associate while simultaneously overseeing store operations. You will verify that the team is performing their duties professionally, greet customers with enthusiasm, and promote store specials. When the Store Manager is unavailable, you will take the lead on critical tasks such as bank runs, post office visits, and off-site meetings. You will also be responsible for forecasting, ordering, and stocking merchandise, ensuring the store is always ready for business.
