Assistant Store Manager

About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager at Hot Spot Stores, you will partner closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming environment for our customers. This role is designed to support the leadership team by stepping in to guide staff, maintain high ethical standards, and drive profitable results. You will serve as a key resource for the team, offering assistance and motivation while upholding the company's commitment to excellence in the convenience store industry.

Day in the Life

Your day will be dynamic, requiring you to perform all duties of a Sales Associate while simultaneously overseeing store operations. You will greet customers warmly, promote store specials, and ensure all staff members are performing their duties professionally. When the Store Manager is unavailable, you will take the lead on critical tasks, including driving to the bank, post office, or off-site meetings. You will also be responsible for forecasting, ordering, and stocking merchandise, ensuring the store is ready for any shift, including weekends and holidays.

Hiring Process

Starting pay is determined by your past experience. Candidates with retail, grocery, or convenience store experience are preferred, though not required. The role requires a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
