About the Role
As an Assistant Store Manager at Hot Spot Stores, you will partner with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming environment for our customers. This role is designed to support the team by stepping in to provide guidance, training, and motivation to store employees. You will act as a key leader on the floor, upholding high ethical standards while driving profitable results through effective store management.
Day in the Life
Your day will be dynamic, requiring you to perform all duties of a Sales Associate while simultaneously overseeing the team. You will greet customers with enthusiasm, verify that staff are performing their duties professionally, and promote store specials. Beyond the sales floor, you will handle operational tasks such as forecasting, ordering, and stocking merchandise. You may also be required to drive to the bank, post office, or off-site meetings when the Store Manager is unavailable.
