The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of one or more self-storage locations under the guidance of the District Manager and Store Manager. This position ensures the facility meets high cleanliness standards while consistently delivering operational excellence.
In this role, you will build customer relationships through in-person and phone interactions, presenting a structured sales process and managing customer accounts. You will work between multiple stores in the district, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are met through continuous maintenance of the site, including the office, interior and exterior storage buildings, and surrounding areas. The role also involves performing daily site safety inspections, resolving customer concerns regarding billing and security, and handling cash transactions and deposits.
This is a day-shift position only, as offices close at 6 PM. The role requires performing both indoor desk work and outdoor physical duties, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting items up to 35 lbs. (occasionally up to 50 lbs.). You will be exposed to seasonal weather conditions. Please note that this specific location is closed on Sundays, offering a potential work/life balance with weekends off depending on the location.
