The Department of Administration of Justice invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. While the area of specialization is open, the department is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in law enforcement. This is an in-residence position within a department that offers a BA in Administration of Justice, including a fully online Law Enforcement Cohort Track specifically designed for law enforcement officers, as well as a Criminal Justice certificate.
The successful candidate will teach a broad range of criminal justice courses across undergraduate programs and develop new courses aligned with their area of specialization. Beyond the classroom, the role involves conducting scholarly research in one's area of expertise and disseminating findings in reputable outlets. The position also includes mentoring and advising students, serving on university committees, and engaging in departmental, institutional, and community service.
