At Century Oaks Elementary, the Assistant Principal serves as a vital partner to the Building Principal, driving the school's mission to ensure academic growth and a positive, inclusive culture for all learners. This role is designed to strengthen staff capacity, foster deep family and community partnerships, and uphold the district's strategic priorities through collaborative leadership.
In this position, you will be the architect of a thriving school climate. Your day will involve balancing instructional leadership with operational excellence, ensuring that rigorous, standards-based teaching practices are consistently implemented across the building. You will work closely with teacher teams and professional learning communities to analyze data, refine instructional strategies, and celebrate student successes. Beyond academics, you will champion student safety and well-being by leading restorative practices, managing behavior systems, and ensuring a supportive environment for students of all backgrounds.
As a key member of the service team, you will also facilitate special education meetings and serve as the Local Education Agency representative, ensuring that every student receives the necessary support to thrive. Whether leading crisis response efforts, engaging families in the school's vision, or supervising after-school enrichment activities, you will model the positive behavior and high aspirations that define our community.
