About the Role
As a Perfusionist Assistant, you will join a team dedicated to supporting the success of cardiac and non-cardiac surgical procedures. You will assist certified Perfusionists in all aspects of care rendered, consistent with hospital-specific and SpecialtyCare policies. Your role is vital in ensuring that surgeons have the integrated support they need, from setting up extracorporeal circuits to managing autotransfusion services.
In this position, you will live the SpecialtyCare Values of Integrity, Care, Urgency, and Improvement. You will be part of a culture where you can demonstrate quality improvement, participate in hospital committees, and present data to surgeons on a quarterly basis.
