The Assistant Manager Transplant serves as a clinical leader within the Transplant Clinical Services organization, actively participating in the overall management of the area, the development of clinical practice, and the provision of patient care. Under the guidance of the Manager, you will develop, implement, and evaluate systems that promote cost-effective, quality patient care.
In this role, you will act as a liaison between the Transplant Center leadership and physicians to foster a collaborative, multidisciplinary work environment. You will engage in effective problem-solving for staff, patients, and families while ensuring the unit's optimal performance. Your day-to-day impact includes promoting the field of organ donation and transplantation, facilitating staff education on clinical standards, and providing ongoing guidance and coaching to peers and subordinates. You will contribute to system quality initiatives, research, and the development of care protocols that align with up-to-date national guidance.
