This position serves as a foundational hourly team member within our store operations, responsible for the end-to-end execution of food preparation, inventory management, and customer service. The role exists to ensure that every product meets our quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient environment for both staff and customers.
Your day will be a dynamic mix of physical activity and precise coordination. You will operate kitchen equipment, stock ingredients from delivery areas into storage and coolers, and prepare products for service. A significant portion of your time involves receiving and processing telephone orders, requiring clear verbal communication with customers and accurate data entry via computer or touch screen.
The environment is fast-paced and varied. You will navigate different temperature zones, from 36-degree walk-in coolers to areas exceeding 90 degrees, and handle tasks ranging from cleaning facilities to managing bulk deliveries. The role demands the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, often under stress, while adhering to strict quality control standards.
Comprehensive orientation and on-the-job training are provided to ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills to operate all equipment, handle inventory paperwork, and execute food preparation tasks safely and efficiently.
