Customer Service Rep

About the Role

This entry-level Customer Service position serves as the foundation of our store team. You will be the face of our brand, responsible for operating equipment, preparing products, and processing orders both over the phone and in person. The role requires a blend of front-of-house customer interaction and back-of-house operational support, ensuring that every customer receives accurate service and high-quality food.

Day in the Life

Your day will be dynamic, moving between the front counter and the kitchen. You will receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork. A significant portion of your time will be spent preparing product, stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage and walk-in coolers, and cleaning equipment and the facility daily. You will also navigate the delivery process, which includes reading maps, locating addresses, and carrying product to delivery sites, sometimes navigating adverse terrain or multi-story buildings.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with varying conditions. You will encounter temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees or higher in work areas, as well as sudden temperature changes between indoor and outdoor settings. The workspace includes exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces up to 500 degrees, and sharp edges. You will frequently stand, walk short distances, and perform repetitive tasks such as shaping pizza dough and assembling boxes. The role also requires physical stamina to lift, carry, push, and climb, including handling bulk deliveries and reaching above 72 inches to operate equipment.
