The Assistant General Manager serves as a vital partner to the General Manager, ensuring the seamless execution of daily property operations and the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. This is a highly hands-on position designed for a leader who is willing to step into any frontline role as needed to support the team. The role acts as the acting lead for guest relations, incident response, and team direction whenever the General Manager is not on-site.
In this capacity, you will supervise staff across guest front desk, housekeeping, custodial, and maintenance departments. Your day involves inspecting rooms and public areas to uphold quality standards, monitoring financial procedures at the front desk, and enforcing strict safety and security protocols. You will be the primary contact for resolving guest incidents, ranging from service issues to medical emergencies or safety concerns, while coordinating closely with various departments to ensure rooms are ready for arrival.
