About the Role
MV Transportation is seeking an Assistant General Manager to provide essential support, leadership, and direction to an assigned operating location. This role is critical for ensuring the successful delivery of annual business plans and controlling the daily operations of our transportation contracts. You will serve as a key partner to the General Manager, ensuring all activities align with the policies of the contracting agency and adhere to company procedures.
In this position, you will oversee fixed-route, paratransit, and microtransit bus services, managing the daily activities of operators, dispatchers, and field supervision staff. Your focus will be on maintaining high-quality service, meeting performance indicators, and ensuring division goals are exceeded. You will also be responsible for developing positive employee and labor relations, managing the Operations Department annual budget, and ensuring that the company's vision, values, and culture are effectively communicated and promoted throughout the operations.
